Raspberry Pi DIN rail mount with passive cooling

by | Mar 30, 2021

The Société Nationale des Objets Connectés (SNOC) is launching a DIN rail mount for Raspberry Pi boards with an integrated passive cooling system: RPIDINCOOL.

Made in France, this aluminum bracket integrates a thermal pad to dissipate the thermal energy of the Raspberry Pi board’s processor directly into the aluminum support. This pad acts as a radiator and allows to lower the temperature of the processor by about 10 to 15°C (depending on the conditions of use).

Equipped with a DIN rail mounting, this system allows to mount a Raspberry Pi board vertically. This is very useful in a space constrained environment such as an electrical panel. You can also simply create a cluster of Raspberry Pi boards with passive cooling.

The advantage over a conventional DIN-rail case is a reduction in space requirements and improved cooling of the board’s processor thanks to its integrated passive cooling.

By using this product, you avoid possible overheating of the Raspberry Pi 4 board by ensuring noise-free cooling of its processor. Thanks to this passive cooling, there is no need to use a fan on the processor.

This affordable mounting kit allows you to limit, if not completely prevent, the Raspberry Pi 4 from performing thermal regulation, allowing you to get optimal performance, regardless of the processor load.

Silently cooling the processor is always a goal of the design team. This is what our customers are looking for through our innovative products dedicated to the professional world.

The product is designed and manufactured in France in our premises and is available immediately for 12.90€ HT on the IoT store : www.yadom.eu
